Who We Serve

Trauma-informed services for all

United by our mission to move the human spirit through conversation – one person, one family and one community at a time – we have spent the last decade helping clients look through the lens of trauma in a completely different way.

Partnerships

We partner with charities and organizations that help individuals to deal with the impact of trauma:

Badge of Life

A peer-led national non-profit volunteer organization supporting police and corrections personnel dealing with psychological injuries suffered in the line of duty with access to counselling, peer support, awareness and training.

Couples Overcoming PTSD Every Day (COPE)

Canada’s leading couples-based trauma program for veterans and first responders affected by operational stress injuries (OSI). Veterans need their families to get better and families need support to help them deal with the challenges of living with OSI in the home.

After a five-day group-based facilitation, participants undertake six months of family coaching, provided by Moving the Human Spirit.

Moral Injury Summit

A three-day summit based around the Tribal Theory framework. Created by trauma therapist Barbara Allyn, Tribal Theory addresses the roots of post-moral injury and intergenerational trauma thus making meaning in the healing process.

As part of the summit, Moving the Human Spirit provides a safe space with guidance to honour sacred storytelling and healing within the trauma spectrum. Trauma-informed coaches work with gentle inquiry changing negative conditions while creating supportive recovery.
