"Maria and I have greatly appreciated the time you have spent with us as our "Life Coach". The way you helped steer us towards our COPE goals and taught us how to communicate better will benefit us for the rest of our lives. The non-judgmental manner in which you dealt with our differences of opinion or our inability to express ourselves was appreciated, Thank you. Your ability to notice subtle language revealing how we were feeling at the time you often turned around and helped us work through so that we felt noticeably better when the session ended. As it happened Tuesday was the day after Maria's regular psychologist's sessions. On a few occasions she was still 'processing' the trauma she had 'walked through' the afternoon before and was unable to find her words. You were very patient and understanding of her situation. The frame work for effective communication you helped us set up we are still working on and we know we are getting better. I more quickly recognize when Maria has a 'flashback' and goes into 'zombie' mode. The 'hyper' end of the scale she experiences far less and I react less to outbursts of anger. Also I've learned that if I show excessive frustration or anger it easily can ramp up Maria's feelings. The Vision Board remains on our fridge and serves as a regular reminder of several key areas/solutions to our relationship in the future. There is Hope! We thank you for the vital part you have played in our lives and marriage."

"One of the many benefits of working through the COPE program and then continuing for 6 months with Susan Hogarth, our life coach - was the accountability aspect. Our weekly sessions with Susan kept both my husband and I on task with our personal and relationship goals. It forced us to be accountable to achieving those goals that were specific, measurable and time sensitive. In the hectic business of our lives, it's easy to lose focus of the health of the relationships that matter most. Susan has given us the tools to navigate through our own relationship complexities. In her wisdom and professionalism, she guided us to uncover new perspectives and ideas that created a more cohesive relationship through improved & effective communications."
Kerry (Participant of COPE program)

"I met Susan as a part of my work to build a coaching program for a start-up university. Susan was immediately encouraging and supportive of my vision and gave me opportunities to speak to her colleagues and associates. We began having regular calls and during one of these she offered to coach me on an issue I was processing. Her guidance and support was excellent. She gave me some great tools to help my own discernment process and most importantly, she held the space for me to do my own work. This is a rare quality (in my experience) for a coach to have. Her maturity and experience really helped me to resolve a difficult decision and move forward in a healthier direction."

"I had the opportunity to work with Susan recently around a longstanding obstacle to my success in moving forward professionally. Her coaching was laser sharp and allowed me to find within myself the clarity I needed to take action and move past the longstanding sense of uncertainty I held. I would recommend her as a coach to anyone who wants to move past stuck in a concise and caring way."
