"Thank you for everything that you have done for us. I want to check in with you once in a while so you can hear about our progress. If it wasn't for COPE and YOU.... we would have never been able to get to where we are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You gave me hope and the skills that will help me move forward and a really important word that comes to mind....is 'courage'. Thanks again."

From our first meeting, as individuals and a couple, Brad made us feel at ease and able to trust in the process. He challenged us to consider things we may never have explored without that. “.. breath through the old stories - look at what you have now and let go of the past again. It does not serve you.”
Thank you Brad, your challenges & guidance has set us on a new and positive path! Brad calmed, reassured & challenged me. (Beverley), He helped me to recognize emotions &/or beliefs that is was holding on to which we’re not serving me in a positive way. He challenged me to let go of those and to then fill those spaces with positive & new energies. I truly believe that working with Brad has been one of the most important things I have ever done for myself & for my relationship! Thank you Brad, you 110% helped me to change my life for the better!!!

"My take away from this program was the honesty, the relationship I developed with the coach, the trust, the accountability, the ability to keep me on track, Brad's ability to listen. He called out my bullshit and made me be honest with myself. He helped us see each other’s perspective in a positive way. It wasn’t just me suffering with PTSD, it was the whole family. My wife has to live with how I am. If I am triggered, and shut down, I now see how that affects her. I now have tools to help cope with PTSD, I can do things to help myself and family. Simple things like when I am triggered, I can say "I am triggered" and they will know why I can’t talk or what is happening in my brain. It is work, but it’s very possible to learn to live with this (PTSD) and most importantly have a healthy loving relationship with the one person that means more to me than anyone else, my wife. This program is another tool we refer to on a regular almost daily basis, we go back to conversations and ideas we learned through coaching that have helped us in our daily lives and relationship. When we are having “discussions”one of us will remember what we said or learned during the coaching and remind the other. At times we can hear, "what did Brad say?". These tools have allowed us to continue to grow and stop the chain of arguing. COPE allows people to learn what the other partner is going through, a clinical understanding, for both partners to learn how our behaviours are affecting the other person, to see each other venerable and honest. It made us realize it’s not just the person diagnosed with PTSD that is suffering nor is that person the only one with PTSD, it’s the family that has it. It validates the partners emotions, feelings, and thoughts. It makes them feel they weren’t alone in what they were dealing with. It reconnects couples on an intimate level again, it removes some of the garbage that’s been piled on since PTSD reared its head, it’s a massive eye opener."

"Everyday things seem to get a little easier. Thank you for all the help and guidance you gave us. Every time I have a conversation with anyone about some of the greatest people I have had the privilege of knowing your name always is thrown in there. I wanted to throw a huge thank you out there."

"My spouse and I are both doing well and growing closer every day now thanks to your support and guidance. We often find ourselves discussing the positive impact your coaching has made on our lives and we are encouraged to pay it forward in our community so we may all benefit from such caring.
I personally think of you often and am reminded that life feels best when we allow ourselves to embrace compassion and remain curious instead of defensive when we are scared. Remembering to take pause and communicate respectfully even when our emotions make that challenging has served me well. I want you to know that I now feel more in control over how I represent myself and I’m learning to accept my past without letting it overwhelm me. I’ve grown comfortable in my ability to harness such control over my own emotions and now model these healthy techniques to my kids so these skills may reach the next generation in my family. I’ve been striving to feel this sense of control since I was a little girl and now I am well on my way. I am forever grateful and I promise to pay it forward. With the warmest of wishes, I thank you for all that you do, Namaste."

"I have been using the tools I learned from Brad. I now have the confidence to move forward, have those difficult conversations and know that I can get the results I desire. I am working on my delivery, but I am not so afraid of communicating anymore. Upon completion of the coaching, I feel like a baby bird encouraged to leave the nest having been nurtured along for months and am now taking flight, on my own. Thank you for all that you have done for my spouse and I. The opportunity to work with you has been a life changer and I feel full of gratitude and blessings. I am richer from the entire experience. I am am living in the "now", not worrying about the future or reminiscing about my past. When the student is ready, the teacher appears."

"Upon completion of the COPE program we were bless to be matched with Brad Hardie, for 6 months of couples coaching. The intensive week program set the foundation for transitioning and continuing the progression of newly acquired skills and implementation of tools via weekly coaching. Initially I was very apprehensive and somewhat closed, struggling to share and allowing myself to be vulnerable. Brad was able to easily and quickly establish a level of trust that made for a pleasant and welcoming experience. Brad is extremely professional and kind hearted, his demeanour always allowed for open and yet challenging conversations while maintaining tremendous respect for each individual throughout the process. It has been over a year since we met Brad via Skype, I continue to be grateful for the support, understanding and knowledge he has shared during our sessions. It is clear how caring and compassionate Brad is towards his clients as well as the dedication he has within his profession."

"My wife Kathryn and I entered into the coaching environment with our eyes wide open and with the expectation we would be exposed to various techniques and exercises as a couple. What we got was much more than that! We received an instant connection with Brad that continued to develop and deepen over the months we worked together. He was honest, genuine and truly cared for what Kathryn and I were experiencing each week. He was very flexible in that he adapted quickly to our needs which always helped us to manage better. In the end, we gained some great new skills that built upon the foundation we already had in place; he strengthened our relationship and we are both so appreciative."

"There is no doubt in my mind that had we not been through COPE, we would not have been able to handle the barrage of problems that has flown our way! I would not have the courage to stand up for myself and ask for help. Prior to COPE I took actions or the lack of action from husband personally. I felt that I was a failure and that if I had been a better wife I could have helped my husband more. Through COPE and the very important Life Coaching after the program I have learned to open up, to not shut out the pain but embrace it, learn from it. Without that empowerment I was unable to feel love. Through the life coaching I learned to stay on track, to be accountable (both of us) and I now recognize that I am strong, but even superheroes need to retire their cape!"

"We have had Brad in twice delivering facilitations for our management team. The first was a Stress and Chaos Facilitation and the second was a Stress and Well-Being Facilitation. Both were well received and filled with lots of new learning that our team was able to incorporate immediately and gain benefit from. Brad has a great mannerism in his delivery and his energy made the facilitations enjoyable and fun. Thanks again!"

"My experience with Brad was incredibly worthwhile and valuable. His insight enabled me to examine my initial concerns in ways that I never considered and I was pleased with how he skillfully led me to identify matters that were related but unrealized. I left with so much more than what I expected. Thank you!"

"Last year, I rekindled my passion as an artist. Not wanting to arrive at a dead end, I approached Brad to help me create a career from this new work. He enabled me to make decisions about my time and my worth that have transformed the way I interact in the world. In a very short time, this has led to a successful exhibit, a very favourable position and a new confidence in life."

"Brad came into my life at a time where everything seemed to be colliding professionally and personally. He gave me the tools and insight to make informed decisions, stay calm and keep faith in my abilities to move forward in all aspects of my life."
Bernard Sauve, General Manager, Eponymous
"My job is unpredictable and incredibly demanding. It is not uncommon for me to work long hours for days on end leaving me feeling too drained to enjoy a balanced life. Working with Brad I was able to set specific guidelines of importance and be more in control of my time, feeling at ease with a busy practice that is ever changing."
Patrice Latka BHSc RM, UBC Faculty of Medicine, Division of Midwifery
Because of my personal relationship with Brad, I believed that working with him in a business capacity would be a challenge. He had the ability to separate himself from anything personal and focus in on my needs as the client. As a result I have gained a greater sense of my work and its place in my life.
